Abstract
Multi-source generators are more realistic for the research of AGC in light of the current power situation Thermal, hydro, gas, nuclear, and renewable energy sources can all be found in the control area. Few authors have described multi-source generating systems in deregulated electricity markets, as evidenced by a literature review. As a result, in this paper, the thermal-gas power Creation units are regarded as a first attempt in the two-area power system. The performance of the suggested controllers was also examined in three distinct scenarios, namely the base case, a bilateral transaction case. Finally, the dynamic performance of the proposed deregulated AGC system is examined using both GA and DE algorithms.
