Abstract
Introduction. The professional development of the personality of the future preschool teacher in the process of training at the institution of higher education includes not only the mastering of key competencies by students but also professional and personal self-improvement, and the formation of an active life position. Information competence plays a key role in solving these tasks. Therefore, the current state of professional training of future teachers of preschool education institutions is unthinkable without information and communication technologies and the provision of such conditions in the educational process under which information competence will be formed among students. Purpose. The article aims to develop and test the method of pedagogical support for the professional development of future teachers of preschool education institutions using information and communication technologies. Methods. Analysis, synthesis, comparison, abstraction, modelling, survey, content analysis, testing, specially developed questionnaires, and individual and complex conversations with students, teachers, educators, directors (managers) and methodologists of preschool institutions were used. Results. Peculiarities in the professional development of future preschool teachers in the process of professional training at a higher education institution are considered. The essence of the concepts «professional development of future educators of preschool education institutions», and «pedagogical support of professional development of future educators» has been defined. Features of the application of information and communication technologies in the professional development of future educators of preschool education institutions are outlined. The method of pedagogical support for the professional formation of future teachers of preschool education institutions using information and communication technologies has been developed and tested. A model of pedagogical support for the professional development of future educators of preschool education institutions using information and communication technologies has been developed. Methodological support for pedagogical support of professional development of future educators is proposed. An electronic portfolio of the results of professional formation was developed, which was a means of recording, accumulating and evaluating the individual achievements of future teachers of preschool education institutions during the period of receiving professional education. The main difficulties and problems of the professional formation of future teachers of preschool education institutions in the process of professional training in a higher education institution have been identified. Originality. For the first time, a method of pedagogical support for the professional development of future educators using information and communication technologies was developed. Conclusion. The proposed method of pedagogical support of the professional formation of future teachers of preschool education institutions using information and communication technologies made it possible to make the process of professional formation more effective, to form such personal qualities as professional duty, professional responsibility, to develop professional culture, to stimulate the need of future educators for professional self-improvement.
