Abstract

Introduction. The article considers the problems of transformation into the political, economic, and cultural life of Ukrainian society, aggregation, and competition in all spheres of activity, an important vector of state policy is education reform, taking into account national priorities — the New Ukrainian School. A significant obstacle to the quality of modern primary education is the difficulty in introducing the practical aspects of the New Ukrainian School into the educational process of training future teachers in the conditions of martial law, remote learning regime, modern realities of fan power outages associated with the destruction of critical infrastructure facilities in various regions of Ukraine. Overcoming difficulties in the learning process together with teachers determines the further process of realizing one's capabilities, and the ability to self-improvement throughout one's life. Purpose. The article aims to clarify the peculiarities of the shaping of students' abilities to improve coherent speech in modern conditions. Methods. Observation, рsychological and pedagogical analysis, analogy, induction, deduction, and comparative analysis were used. Results. Modern educational reforms actualize thorough learning, understanding, and creative use of national experience. Particularly important in this context is the appeal to scientists and methodologists of the second half of the 20th — beginning of the 21st century. (V. Bader, L. Varzatska, M. Vashulenko, O. Vashulenko, I. Gudzik, S. Dubovik, T.N. Lazarenko, M. Lviv, K. Ponomaryova, N. Skrypchenko, M. Stelmakhovich, V. Sobko, O. Khoroshkovska etc.). At the same time, the indicated problems of understanding the essence of the competence approach, the characteristics of key and subject competencies, and updated technologies of formation and measurement remain those that require discussion and further improvement. The structure of the updated language and speech school course at the New Ukrainian School contributes to the formation of the language and speech personality of the elementary school student, as it involves the use by the teacher of types of educational activities that implement communicative, didactic and cultural aspects, ensure the socialization of schoolchildren. To determine the qualitative and quantitative indicators of the correctness and appropriateness of the use of adjectives in the speech of younger schoolchildren, student works of artistic and scientific styles (both oral and written) were analyzed and compared with similar studies conducted in 2015 — before the introduction of the reform of the National Academy of Sciences (a total of 120 works were analyzed). As we can see, the indicators of the use of adjectives-synonyms increase symmetrically in artistic texts, adjectives- antonyms are used by students only in texts of scientific style (2015/2022 years), comparison with adjectives is only in scientific, stylistically colored adjectives are present in texts of both artistic and scientific styles, but in the written statements of students of 2022, we observe an increase in the quality of statements due to synonymous adjectives, figurative adjectives, stylistically colored adjectives, which characterizes the prevalence of students' communication in social networks, messengers, and therefore, the positive dynamics of written speech. Conclusion. The coverage of the outlined issues in the modern language didactics of primary education during the practical training of future primary school teachers necessitates the creation of additional simulators with training exercises that should be implemented in the remote work mode to create a convenient educational environment for students, appropriate emotional adjustment, balance, avoidance of stressful situations, the development of appropriate didactic material for work on learning adjectives with regard to the general goal — the creation of a harmonious linguistic personality.
