FORMATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL CULTURE OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS IN THE MODERN EDUCATIONAL SPACE

Abstract
Introduction. The article analyzes the current global problem of environmental education and the main principles of environmental protection. Elaboration of the purpose and tasks of ecological training of a specialist, who should reveal the importance of environmental education by new approaches recognized in international pedagogical practice. It has been demonstrated that the qualification of a teacher of any profession should ensure professional readiness to fulfill the tasks of environmental education. Purpose. The article aims to emphasize the importance of environmental education and to provide the younger generation with scientific knowledge about the relationship between nature and society. Methods. Theoretical ‒ analysis of psychological, pedagogical, methodical literature on the subject, synthesis, comparison, induction and deduction, and analogy, which allowed to characterize the state of development of the problem in the scientific literature and draw own conclusions. Results. Particular attention is paid to environmental education, which should provide the young generation with scientific knowledge about the relationship between nature and society. It should also help young people to understand the multifaceted value of nature for society as a whole and everyone, in particular, to make a demand for communication with nature, to teach them the norms of correct behavior in the process of cooperation, to deepen the desire and ability to take an active part in the preservation of the environment. Originality. Environmental education is designed to give the younger generation scientific knowledge about the relationship between nature and society, to help understand the multifaceted value of nature for society as a whole and for everyone in particular, to create demandingness in communication with nature, to teach correct behavior in the process of interacting with it, to develop aspirations and the ability to take active participation in environmental protection. Conclusion. The successful implementation of environmental education largely depends on compliance with a number of pedagogical conditions. Scientists consider the main condition for the effective formation of ecological culture to be a combination of educational material of appropriate content with practical activities in the natural environment.
