Abstract
The smart waste management system aims to provide an intelligent solution for waste management, incorporating the use of sensors, data analytics, and communication technologies. The IoT-based smart waste management system can effectively monitor, manage, and optimize the waste management process by providing real-time data on the waste level, bin status, and collection schedules. The system also enables the automatic sorting of waste based on the type and volume of waste generated. The IoT-based smart waste management system comprises several components, including sensors, microcontrollers, communication devices, and data analytics tools. The sensors are used to detect the level of waste in the bins, and the microcontrollers process the data collected from the sensors. The communication devices enable the system to send real-time data to the waste management authorities, and the data analytics tools help to analyse the data collected from the sensors to optimize the waste management process.
