Abstract
Poor mechanical properties characterize polydimethylsiloxane. Nevertheless, in most instances, a reinforcing step is required to raise the initial modulus and durability of the material. The composite's filler must have a large amount of surface area in relation to its volume, or aspect ratio. Silica and alumina nanoparticles are two of the most popular choices for creating nanocomposites. Composites comprising nano alumina and nano silica reinforced with grafted polydimethylsiloxane have been fabricated using solvent casting (G-PDMS)
