Abstract
The results of research on the main thermal parameters of a 2 MW hot water boiler using the method of recirculating exhaust gases into the combustion air are presented. The research was carried out under different operating modes of the boiler during the heating season, with a change in its thermal load from 30 to 100%, and with different proportions of recirculated gases (from 10 to 20%) in a mixture with combustion air. It has been shown that the use of exhaust gas recirculation in the considered method leads to a decrease in the boiler efficiency by 1.3–3.1%.
