Abstract

As temperatures are expected to rise on land and at sea, they will also melt ice in lakes and rivers, all manifestations of global climatic change. People in underdeveloped nations are thought to be more sensitive than those in developed countries because their mitigation and adaptation methods are weaker in the face of increased climate exposures. Social, economic, and agricultural losses have been widely forecast, and they pose a threat. Vulnerability assessments were conducted using these same methods, taking into account regional variations in social, demographic, developmental, and thermal [x] variables. For 28 districts in Punjab and Haryana, we determined their social and human vulnerability and found a linear link between social, agricultural, and meteorological factors. West Bengali districts' human vulnerability was calculated using this kind of cumulative connection. Vulnerability was also evaluated for 22 villages in rural West Bengal based on socioeconomic, anthropometric, and climatic factors. The analysis revealed that various signs were taken into account for vulnerability at different times and in different places.
