Science and technology policy of China in the new strategy of its economic development

The article is devoted to the issues of the new economic model of China's development in the plans of the 14th five-year plan (2021-2025) and until 2035. The priority of sustainable growth of the national economy and the direction of the new course is determined by the expansion of domestic demand and the achievement of leading positions in the field of high technologies in order to transform the country into an innovative type of state. The new strategy of economic development of the People's Republic of China, called «double circulation», is designed to balance domestic and foreign markets and thereby bring the Chinese macroeconomic model closer to developed countries.
