Abstract

The article presents an adapted educational program from the discipline «Industrial medical practice», the content module «Orthodontics» according to the direction of training 1201 «Medicine», specialty 7.12010005 — «Dentistry» structured according to the principles of the credit-module form of education. The main provisions and features of the modern system of professional education are highlighted, the criteria for evaluating the knowledge and skills of education seekers are described. The role of industrial medical practice as a component of a complex system of dental education is summarized. The effectiveness of industrial medical practice in the process of forming a chain between theoretical and practical components of medical education was analyzed and experimentally confirmed. The role of the head of industrial medical practice, who is obliged to evaluate students daily by analyzing their work in the department, is singled out.
