EDUCATIONAL AND METHODICAL CONDITIONS FOR BUILDING LEADERSHIP COMPETENCE OF FUTURE OFFICERS OF COMMUNICATION UNITS IN THE PROCESS OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

Abstract

Introduction. The article analyses the educational and methodical conditions for building leadership competence of future officers of communication units in the process of professional training. The essence of the concepts «formation,» «conditions,» and «organizational and pedagogical conditions» has been specified. Purpose. The article aims to highlight the modern needs of the communication units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the theoretical and practical issues of training the officers of the communication units to effectively perform their functions in service-combat situations, which require an increase in the effectiveness of the professional training of cadets for managerial activities during their studies at higher military educational institutions. Methods. Analysis and generalization of scientific literature, comparison, synthesis, systematization, and generalization of information were used. Results. For this, it is necessary to create a comprehensive pedagogical system for the building leadership competence of future officers of communication units during the organization of the educational process at HMEI, which requires the implementation of defined optimal organizing and pedagogical conditions: the building leadership competence of future officers of communication units will be effective under such organizational and pedagogical conditions: selection of content and design of professional training of future officers of communication units taking into account current needs and preparation for managing units in combat conditions; introduction of NATO management standards into the educational process of HMEI based on an adaptive approach and increasing the professional competence of scientific and pedagogical workers in the disciplines of military and professional training for their application; development of professional communicative competence of future officers, including foreign language, for effective management activities, as well as organization of independent cognitive activities of cadets through the development of their leadership qualities and self-management; integration of managerial knowledge, abilities and skills based on an interdisciplinary approach by introducing the appropriate academic discipline into the educational process of the higher educational institution; the choice of appropriate active learning methods and the use of ICT technologies, training complexes and simulators when practicing managerial decision-making skills as an important component of professional competence. Originality. Implementing mentioned organizational and pedagogic conditions shows their considerable potential in the implementation of tasks, which are aimed at developing of managerial competence of future officers. Conclusion. The defined organizational and pedagogical conditions are optimal for the formation of management competence of future officers of communication units in the process of professional training.
