Abstract
Introduction. The article analyzes the events of recent years, namely the pandemic and full-scale war, which have critically affected the development of the country. Restoration and modernization of the Ukrainian economy is a large-scale and multidimensional task. The process of a comprehensive transformation of the country, affecting almost every element of the economy, involves the implementation of full-scale measures that need to be closely coordinated. The state is facing a new reality that requires an adaptive approach to find effective ways to enhance the technological, digital, graphic, and entrepreneurial training of applicants in educational institutions and older people who want to take part in a large-scale restoration and modernization of the country. Purpose. The article aims to highlight the problems and define the perspectives of developing the national educational system based on the formation of graphic competencies. An insufficient level of attention to the study of graphic disciplines can become a serious problem for future specialists who must develop modern complex equipment, design technological processes, and digital systems and restore the country's infrastructure. Graphic knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies are important tools for modern and future professionals in various industries, including manufacturing, engineering, architecture, design, business, etc. The educational system should ensure the involvement of the entire population in these processes by creating conditions for the formation and development of creative ideas, design ideas, and critical thinking. Methods. Theoretical analysis of psychological, pedagogical, technological, and methodological literature, comparison, generalization, and systematization of scientific works of researchers on the discussed topics, allowed us to characterize the state of this problem and draw our conclusions. Results. In recent years, Ukraine has repeatedly discussed the importance of studying the course of drawing in institutions of general secondary education, since the acquired skills are necessary for the development of many professions, in particular, mechanical engineering, architecture, engineering and others. The need to study drawing (architectural, engineering, machine-building, mine surveying, topographical) in educational institutions, to form the appropriate level of educational achievements and competencies, is due not only to its importance in modern life. A huge role is played by graphic activity in the development of spatial thinking, mental activity, and cognitive activity of applicants, their creative abilities and a great need for highly qualified specialists for professional assistance in restoring the country's destroyed infrastructure. Originality. Mobilization of education as a key asset for the recovery of the country after large-scale destruction will require an appropriate level of reform in the context of technological, engineering and graphic training and the involvement of authorities, philanthropists, politicians, scientists, businesses, and educational leaders at the highest level in this process. Conclusion. The material of the article allows us to conclude that to restore and improve the infrastructure and develop the economy of our country, it is necessary to provide an integrated approach to teaching young people knowledge and skills in the subject of drawing in institutions of general secondary and vocational education. In institutions of higher education, it is necessary to create conditions for the organization of teaching graphic disciplines based on requirements that meet the tasks of preparing young people for economic recovery. The return of studying the subject of drawing to the educational process of general secondary education institutions is a necessary step to ensure the sustainability and efficiency of our country's infrastructure in the future.
