Abstract

Introduction. The article reveals the problem of training future teachers of physical culture to use mobile and sports games in their professional activities. It has been established that an objective characterization of the state of preparation of future physical education teachers for the use of mobile and sports games in professional activity is possible, on the one hand, based on the study of its purpose, content, forms, and methods of implementation in institutions of higher education and, on the other hand, it requires an analysis of the state of their training. Purpose. The article aims to find the essence and meaning of moving and sports games for students of general secondary education institutions and to reveal the problem of training future teachers of physical education for their use in professional activities. Methods. Theoretical methods of analysis and generalization of scientific literature, systematization, and generalization of the received information. Results. The views of scientists on the formation, evolution, and development of play activities of children, and students and preparation for its implementation by future teachers of physical culture are disclosed. The classification and characteristics of mobile games are presented. Their specifics and advantages are disclosed. The conceptual provisions that form the basis of the training of future physical education teachers for the use of moving and sports games in their professional activities are substantiated. The technology for training future physical culture teachers for the use of moving and sports games in their professional activities has been developed. In the aspect of this technology, a special seminar «Preparation of future teachers of physical education for the use of mobile and sports games» is offered, which contains five topics: «History, current state, and prospects for the development of mobile and sports games», «Game motor activity is an effective means of training future of physical education teachers before its implementation in professional activity», «Specifics of moving and sports games», «Psychological-pedagogical and organizational-methodical conditions for conducting various forms of physical culture and sports events», «Conditions for involving schoolchildren in moving and sports games». Originality. The technology for training a future teacher of physical education for the use of moving and sports games is a combination of the following areas: ensuring the motivational attitude of students to create an active positive attitude to participation in moving and sports games; formation of the professional competence of the future teacher of physical culture, prepared for the use of mobile and sports games in professional activities; introduction of justified pedagogical conditions that ensure the use of mobile and sports games in the educational process of general secondary education institutions. To obtain objective data on the optimality of the technology for training future teachers of physical education for the use of mobile and sports games, the state of the studied readiness (motivational-value, informational-content, organizational-technological, reflective components) was determined. Based on the results of the research conducted based on the developed technology and the proposed special seminar, an increase in the level of readiness of the future physical culture teacher for the use of moving and sports games in professional activities was established. Conclusion. the essence and significance of moving and sports games for students of general secondary education institutions and the problem of preparing future teachers of physical education for their use in professional activities are revealed. The classification and characteristics of mobile games are presented. Their specifics and advantages are disclosed.
