LEGAL REGULATION OF STATE PROTECTION IN THE CONTEXT OF STATE SECURITY OF UKRAINE

In the article, based on the current legislation of Ukraine, considers the activities of state protection agencies in the context of ensuring state security. In the research process, the general philosophical method, systematic methods — dialectics, analysis, synthesis, observation, modeling, legal methods — formal-logical, comparative jurisprudence were used. The object of the research is public relations in the sphere of activity of state protection bodies. The subject of the study is the activities of state protection and its legal basis. State protection is a category that characterizes the degree of protection of life and health of state leaders from external and internal threats, defined by legislation, the through the establishment of administrative-legal regimes by law enforcement agencies of special competence in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies of Ukraine. It is noted that the current stage of the state's development is characterized by the fact that the sphere of state protection is in a state of rapid and constant changes, where almost all aspects of the life of society and the functioning of the state are intertwined. It is indicated that the non-regulation at the legislative level of administrative and legal measures to neutralize modern challenges and threats to state security and in the sphere of state protection leads to irrelevant state management mechanisms in the sphere of state protection of objects defined by current legislation. This leads to the fact that in some cases legal relations in this area are considered as a kind of conflict field with the participation of civil society institutions and state bodies in the process of implementing security measures. Proposed measures aimed at improving the efficiency of state security in the context of the Strategy for ensuring the state security of Ukraine. Key words:
