CRYPTOCURRENCY MINING USING BIOENERGY AS AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO IMPROVING THE EFFICIENCY OF AGROINDUSTRIAL PROCESSING ENTERPRISES

The article presented in this research paper is an in-depth analysis of the bioenergy potential of processing enterprises of the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex in the context of global energy challenges and the search for alternative energy sources. The authors examine in detail the concept of «green fuel», which is based on the use of organic substrates derived from photosynthesis processes. This approach to bioenergy is seen as a response to the growing environmental and economic challenges faced by Ukraine. The article focuses on an expanded understanding of bioenergy beyond liquid biofuels. The authors consider a wide range of possibilities, including solid and gaseous biofuels, as well as the potential of energy-optimized plants. These plants, due to their unique properties, can become a real alternative to traditional fossil fuels used today. Additionally, the article includes an analysis of two main methods of using biomass: direct combustion and its conversion into various energy forms. Of particular interest is the concept of «biomining», where energy derived from biogas is used for cryptocurrency mining. This combination of traditional energy production methods with modern digital technologies can open up new horizons for Ukraine's sustainable development in the context of globalization. The authors base their research on an in-depth analysis of available data, including statistics, scientific sources, practical experience, and international publications. This comprehensive approach allows us to gain a complete understanding of the situation in the bioenergy sector in Ukraine, identify the main problems and challenges, and find the best ways to solve them. The findings of the study emphasize the importance of further research in this area, as well as the need to adapt international experience to Ukrainian realities. This approach will help ensure the sustainable development of the bioenergy industry in Ukraine, taking into account the specifics of the national economy and the country's environmental characteristics.
