INNOVATIVE FORMS OF RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES IN THE RURAL (GREEN) TOURISM

The article analyses innovative forms of rural (green) tourism and recreation at the level of a tourist destination. It is noted that presently there is observed an interest among tourists in innovative forms of travel and recreation. Such interest generates a need for active forms of spending leisure time, while not only physical activity is important, but also the cognitive and recreational components of travel. In such circumstances, there are dynamic changes in the way and style of recreation. New types of tourism are emerging that ensure an unforgettable tourist experience and contribute to the development of tourist destinations. During the study, creative forms of rural (green) tourism that can be developed on the territory of a certain destination, particularly in the Cherkasy region, have been identified. It is stated that the tourist potential of Cherkasy region allows to develop almost all types of modern tourism in this territory. It has been established that in developing countries, apiculture plays an important role in overcoming poverty in rural areas through the possibility of generating additional income. Therefore, the development of apitourism is an opportunity to reinvigorate rural areas, create new workplaces and promote the region's culture and traditions. It is indicated that apitourism as a form of recreational activity can be an innovative form of rural (green) tourism in Cherkasy region. The analysis of the development of recreational activities in the region on the example of apitourism is conducted. In order to increase the level of development of tourism in Cherkasy region, the Apirecreation app was developed and a business plan for its implementation was formed. On the basis of the performed research, recommendations for the development of apitourism at the level of tourist destination have been formulated. Adherence to the aforementioned recommendations will not only develop a tourist region with a unique natural and cultural heritage, but will also provide a new experience in the field of tourism; will promote the creation of various types of tourist products related to a place, event, service and based upon natural advantages and innovations.
