STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE ECONOMIC SYSTEM IN THE AREAS OF POST-INDUSTRIALISM

Introduction. The development of the world economic system demonstrates the growing degree of integration into certain system formations and attests to the transition to a new stage of development — the post-industrial one. Political, social and economic sciences actively study and research the main principles, patterns and trends of the development of society and various economic systems. Purpose: To research the stages of development of the economic system in the post-industrial environment, their characteristics and features. Materials and methods: Scientific methods of synthesis, analysis, comparison and grouping are used; complex and historical approaches; logical, theoretical generalization, formation of conclusions. The research of leading scientists on the stages of development of the economic system in terms of post-industrialism is analyzed. Results. Analyzed the research of leading scientists on the stages of development of the economic system in terms of post-industrialism. It was determined that the main positions of the formation of post-industrialism and the development of the economic system are based on the concept of post-industrial society by D. Bell and A. Kumaraswamy, who identified the stages of the development of the economic system. The post-industrial model of the development of the economic system is studied on the basis of the analysis and systematization of theories of future development, determining the main features of the post-industrial society and the economy in general. The study of the main stages of the development of the economic system was conducted on the basis of the theoretical concepts of the relevant scientists. The following stages of the evolutionary development of the economic system are distinguished: pre-industrial society (until the 18th century); industrial society (18th century — first half of the 20th century); post-industrial society (from the second half of the 20th century). These stages are characterized and based on this, a conclusion is drawn regarding the post-industrial model of economic and social development. It was concluded that the main concept of the post-industrial society is the evaluation of the new formation, the dominant value of the development of the economic system of post-industrialism is information and knowledge Discussion. Further research will be aimed at determining the ways and directions of adapting the principles of post-industrialism to the realities of the development of the Ukrainian economy.
