Abstract
Significant dynamism and uncertainty of the modern socio-economic environment, increased competition in the consumer market require new creative management decisions from the management of restaurant business enterprises to ensure their effective functioning. The management of restaurant business enterprises is the most important type of professionally carried out economic activity of institutions, which is aimed at achieving the goals of an individual enterprise through the rational organization of material, labor and information resources using the principles, functions and methods of management. The economic functions of the restaurant industry are considered as a single integrated mechanism of production and circulation of products, which provides the restaurant business with certain advantages over other sectors of the national economy. The realities of further uncertainty require the transformation of the restaurant business environment and the strengthening of the team's competencies suitable for anti-crisis counteraction. However, the success of enterprises in this area depends on the efficiency of business processes, which requires the formation of new approaches to managing the latter, using combined types of organizational structures, modern marketing tools, and enhancing the integration of business processes. Appropriate measures include reorientation of target criteria, giving new meaning to management functions and outlining vectors for improving business processes of service sector enterprises, which will contribute to the realization of their main business goals. The effectiveness of the use of certain management methods depends on their motivational orientation, systematicity and availability of a mechanism for their implementation, and involves the management work of the management of hotel and restaurant business enterprises to find and implement innovative modern management methods. The most effective changes in the management system of restaurant business enterprises can be achieved by applying management methods in a complex, combining their various combinations. The process of social development management is impossible without management decision-making, because decisionmaking is the basis of management activity. All the more so when it comes to management decisions in the restaurant business. The article presents improved methods and forms of operation of the restaurant industry. A restaurant business of any size can use the methods and forms shown.
