FORMATION A FAVORABLE INVESTMENT CLIMATE IN THE STOCK MARKET AS A PREREQUISITE FOR INCREASING THE COMPETITIVENESS OF THE ECONOMY

The article considers the current state and prospects of the development of the Ukrainian stock market. It is substantiated the importance of attracting investment for the development of the country's economy. It is noted that the formation of a developed stock market is a necessary condition for ensuring sustainable economic growth in the conditions of recovery of the domestic economy. It is presented the description of the important changes and reforms in the stock market of Ukraine over the past years which will increase the competitiveness of both business entities and the economy as a whole. It is analyzed the measures taken by the authorities to attract investment and promote the development of the stock market. It is noted that the Ukrainian stock market has a significant potential for increased competitiveness and development and the important factors contributing to further development of the market are the increase in the number of issuers and investors, increasing the level of confidence in the market, improving legislation and reducing the administrative barriers. The parameters of the future development of the investment climate in the Ukrainian stock market are forecasted. It is noted that the Ukrainian stock market has a great potential for the growth and development and the authorities need to pay maximum attention to this. In addition, the important factor in the development of the Ukrainian stock market is a further increase in the level of technological equipment of exchanges and banking institutions that serve the securities market. The development of modern technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence can significantly improve trading efficiency, risk management and other aspects of the market. Additionally the improvement of the legal field and the fight against corruption are the important aspects that will positively affect the investment climate of stock exchanges of Ukraine and ensure the stability of its development in the future. The conducted economic analysis shows that the Ukrainian stock market demonstrates the positive development dynamics, attracts the interest of investors, including international ones and the potential for further growth. It is stated that the authorities are taking measures for improving the investment climate in the market such as simplifying regulation and attracting the foreign investors. However, there are some challenges, in particular, a decrease in liquidity and an increase in the cost of lending, which may negatively affect the development of the market. Despite this, the investment climate in the Ukrainian stock market is promising and has the potential for the further growth and development.
