Archetype "Tree" and "Sacrificial Animal" as the basis of a HUMAN AGE concept

Based on the methodological conclusions of Stepanov Y. S and Proskurin S.H. with regard to the entity of the conceptual content of the lexemes that verbalize a certain concept in related (closely/distantly related) and unrelated languages, in this article we turn to the etymological analysis of the lexemes вік, возраст, age and lexeme ? nominations of some age stages and persons by age in Ukrainian, Russian and English to find out the mythological and cultural archetype images in the structure of a HUMAN AGE concept in the analysed languages.
