The Impact of Smart Organizations on Methods of Crisis Management at the Greater Amman Municipality

The study aims to find out how smart organizations affect, through (understanding invironment, continued learning, and information and communication technology), the way crisis is managed (like: the method of diversion, the method of tactical precaution, and the method of containing the crisis) at the Greater Amman Municipality. To achieve the ends of this research, both researchers designed a questionnaire containing (30) items to colletect initial data from the study sample comprising of (139) employees at middle and top management positions at the Greater Amman Municipality, and accordingly the collected data is analysed and the hypothses are tested through SPSS application (the statistical package for the social sciences) in addition to other statistical methods like multiple regression analysis. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: Smart organizations have had a big impact on how the Greater Amman municipality handles crises. Both smart organizations and crisis management methods are seen of relative importance, with scores of (3.78) and (3.70), respectively.
