LEGAL FOUNDATIONS FOR INTERPRETING THE ESSENCE OF ECONOMIC ACTIVITY OF AGRARIAN ENTERPRISES IN UKRAINE

The article analyses the legal foundations for interpreting the essence of economic activity in Ukraine. The interpretation of the essence of economic activity in the legislation of Ukraine is analysed. Emphasis is placed on the evolution of interpretation and changes in the law. Common features of the interpretations are the emphasis on income generation and differences in the level of detail of economic activity. Doctrinal approaches to interpreting the essence of economic activity among domestic scientists are considered. It is important to note that domestic scientists typically consider the current legal norms and unique aspects of the national economy when interpreting the concept. This approach makes it possible to identify weaknesses in the national legal system and suggest ways to improve them. It is determined how the normative regulation of economic activity affects the development of the national economy. Normative regulation of economic activity affects the competition regulation, investment attraction, corruption prevention, international integration, and economic efficiency. Legislation can both help and hinder economic development. On the one hand, effective legislation can stimulate economic growth. On the other hand, outdated legislation can be an obstacle to economic development. Potential subjects of economic activity may be discouraged by the inconsistency and uncertainty of the laws. Economic activity in Ukraine takes place under conditions of constant updating of legislation. The influence of international norms on Ukrainian legislation has been studied. Using international experience to improve Ukrainian legislation can increase the economic efficiency of economic activity in Ukraine. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account the peculiarities of the national economy. Clear and comprehensible legislation contributes to economic efficiency by helping to ensure appropriate conditions for enterprises to operate in the market. The peculiarities of economic activity of agrarian enterprises in Ukraine are determined. The important role of the agricultural sector in the national economy and its unique legal features are noted.
