Abstract

The article highlights the problem of self-efficacy and its impact on the success of specialists in professional activities The theoretical analysis of scientific publications on the essence, content and components of self-efficacy is carried out. Approaches to the interpretation of the essence of the concept of "self-efficacy" are considered. The purpose of the article is to theoretically study self-efficacy as a factor of success in the professional activity of specialists in the service of infrastructure restoration and development. This is due to the requirements of today, which has led to an urgent need for infrastructure specialists who are obliged to be socially mature, to adapt to the new requirements dictated by martial law, etc. It is substantiated that the achievement of self-efficacy of an employee of the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service is associated not only with the acquisition of professional competencies, but also with the development of personal and professional qualities of a professional and his/her professionalism. This is naturally accompanied by the development of self-efficacy of an employee of the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service during the personal development of a specialist, which ensures a change in his or her position in society, in the organization, in the service and is associated with the level of authority and success. The objective and subjective components of success are considered, which provide employees with an emotional experience of their own success or failure (subjective side), as well as an assessment of the results of their activities as successful (objective component) in a particular organization in the process of self-actualization in their own life space or professional activity. The factors that contribute to or impede success are identified: both internal (responsibility, satisfaction, ability to self-realization, self-efficacy, etc.) and external (material wealth, social status, etc.). It has been established that personal growth is accompanied by the disclosure of the potential capabilities of the personality of employees in the infrastructure sector and can be realized through self-identification, self-fulfillment, self-realization, etc. At the same time, the completeness of personal fulfillment depends on the ability of employees to set goals, determine directions, and assess their own ability to realize and achieve the goals while maintaining personal value. This process of development and growth in professional activity stimulates specialists to achieve success, motivates them to achieve results and increases labor productivity – their self-efficacy
