Abstract
The features and trends of services sphere development in countries with transforming economies are examined. The comparative analysis of key indicators in the sphere development is carried out on the basis of statistical data. The most urgent problems that need immediate solutions for the harmonic and continuous development within the national economy of Ukraine in the context of globalization are identified. The basic directions of regulation and the ways to solve these problems are grounded.
