Peculiarities of legal texts in simultaneous interpretation

This study focuses on the characteristics of legal texts that need to be taken into consideration both before and after legal translation, mostly in the pre-translation phase. Even though jurists write in a variety of languages and address comparable topics, their approaches differ because of the linguistic and cultural diversity of the societies they write about as well as the distinctive features of their legal systems.
