Features of debt collection under a loan agreement concluded between citizens under Russian law

In this scientific article, the author examined the features in modern Russian legislation on collecting the amount of debt under a loan agreement concluded between citizens. The concepts, types of loan agreements, features of concluding a loan agreement between citizens, relevant articles of Russian legislation are given. The nuances have been studied when considering claims for recovery of the amount of debt under the loan agreement in the order of writ proceedings, the consequences of violation of the loan agreement by the borrower (sanctions), as well as the statute of limitations. The judicial practice on debt collection under a loan agreement with long-term obligations is considered.
