Abstract

The relevance of the research topic regarding the organization of monitoring the activities of enterprises in a competitive business environment is determined primarily by the modern nature of economic development and the growing level of competition. Today, enterprises face significant competitive pressure, which requires them to constantly analyze and improve their activities in modern, complex market conditions. The organization of monitoring is becoming a key element of strategic management, as it allows enterprises to respond in a timely manner to changes in the competitive business environment, adapt their strategies and determine advantages over competitors. At the same time, it is important to understand and determine how modern technologies and innovations affect the monitoring process. In this regard, the purpose of the article is to explore the features of organizing monitoring of enterprise activities in a competitive business environment. It has been established that successful competition in the market requires enterprises to constantly analyze and improve their activities. Monitoring is a key tool in ensuring the effectiveness of competitiveness in the context of enterprise development. It has been determined that the following aspects underlie the formation of a system of principles and a mechanism for organizing monitoring of enterprises' activities in a competitive business environment: the importance of monitoring in a competitive business environment; identification of key performance indicators; using technology to collect data; analysis of the competitive environment; continuous improvement of strategy; protection of information and confidentiality. It is noted that the general concept of the study emphasizes that effective monitoring allows an enterprise to quickly respond to changes in the environment, adapt its strategy and increase competitiveness in modern conditions. This process helps businesses maintain their position in the market and achieve sustainable success in a competitive business environment in a competitive market. The prospect for further research is to improve methods for analyzing competitive activity and forming a system for assessing enterprise performance indicators in a competitive business environment.
