Digital technologies in the system of public financial management

In the context of the strategic directions of the national economic policy, in particular the National Revenue Strategy until 2030, the introduction of digital technologies into the system of public financial management becomes a promising way to optimize budget processes and increase the efficiency of resource use. In particular, attention is focused on the need for digitization of local budgets and finances as a key element of public administration reform. The main goal of this study is to analyze the impact of digital technologies on the system of local finance and budgeting, to identify opportunities and challenges of their implementation, as well as to formulate recommendations to ensure the successful implementation of this process. The object of the study is the system of local budgets and finances in the context of their digital transformation. The subject of the study is the influence of digital technologies on the processes of formation, use and monitoring of local finances. The study is based on the analysis of strategic documents, legislation and scientific literature on digital transformation in the field of finance and management. Data analysis methods, expert assessments and comparative analysis of international experience in this field are also used. The author reviewed the existing state and development trends of digitalization of local budgets and finances. On the basis of the analysis, the key problems and opportunities for the introduction of digital technologies in this area have been identified. Specific recommendations are offered for further development and practical implementation of digital initiatives in local financial management. The results of the study confirm the potential of digital transformation in the system of local budgets and finances to increase the efficiency of resource management and improve the quality of services to citizens. Specific measures are proposed to stimulate digital innovation in this area and provide the necessary institutional and organizational support for their successful implementation
