Abstract
This text discusses the importance of staff motivation to improve the efficiency of work at the enterprise. The author describes the basic principles and methods of motivating employees in procurement departments in various countries, including Belarus, Japan, the USA, France and Sweden. He reveals that financial incentives, improved working conditions and intangible incentives play an important role in motivating employees. The author emphasizes the influence of cultural characteristics on approaches to staff motivation and calls for the adaptation of foreign experience taking into account local conditions. The main idea of the article is that effective management of staff motivation is a key factor in the success of a company and requires an integrated approach combining financial and non-material incentives.
