Abstract
This article examines the features of the manifestation of fear as a phenomenon that affects human life, thinking and activity. The concept of fear, the prerequisites for its occurrence, and the features of the impact of fear on the psyche are characterized. At the end of the study, a conclusion is drawn about the dialectical nature of fear as an emotion that can harm a person’s physical and mental health, or that increases the individual’s resilience, his ability to endure life’s hardships and failures.
