Psychological correction of suicidal behavior of convicts with low social status

The article discusses the issues of correction of suicidal behavior of convicts with low informal social status. Informal social status in a correctional institution plays an important and sometimes decisive role in the life of convicts. At the same time, the low informal status creates a lot of problems for convicts, difficult life situations, morally destroying convicts' data associated with the negative attitude of convicts of a higher hierarchy. All this can lead to moral and psychological exhaustion, and as a result, to suicidal behavior.
