Abstract
An evaluation about the film “Time To Love”, directed by Metin Erksan in 1965 takes place in this study. In this context, Metin Erksan’s intellectual identity, his quest on cinema and the process of making of “Time To Love” are mentioned. Metin Erksan won an international prize by his film “Time To Love” , he directed in 1964 and shortly after he directed a very different film in terms of film grammar. He directed “Time To Love” like showing that he can create his own film language as he is impressed by political trends of his period. Although the film wasn’t showed in the cinemas and wasn’t interested in, “Time To Love” mentioned a cult film today.In this study the process that the film passed and the cinema comprehension of the film take place.
