ANALYSIS OF CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) PROGRAMS AND STRATEGIES OF ENTERPRISES AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON PROMOTING SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
Introduction. In today's environment, responsible business practices, interaction and care for the community and consumers, and participation in solving global problems determine the sustainable activity of any enterprise. The long-term reputation of enterprises, and the loyalty of consumers depends to a large extent on their socially responsible behaviour, which is a component of success. Enterprises need to have opportunities to find solutions to global social and environmental problems on the goals of sustainable development and to implement them with the desire to be the best for consumers, employees, partners, and stakeholders. So, corporate social responsibility is the focus of the companies' development strategy, and, therefore, it is helpful to start the development of strategies and programs for corporate social responsibility of business taking into account the results of the analysis of existing modern programs and strategies and their influence on promoting sustainable development. Purpose. To analyze the programs and strategies of corporate social responsibility of Ukrainian enterprises in the modern realities of martial law. To substantiate the significance of influencing the development of corporate social responsibility strategies and plans for the sustainable development of enterprises. Materials and methods. The study focused on conceptual foundations of corporate social responsibility, regulations of the strategy for the sustainable development of enterprises, strategic management, and scientific works of national and foreign scholars regarding the issues of management, strategic management, and corporate social responsibility. To achieve the defined goal of the research paper, a system of general scientific and special methods was used, among them: logical generalization, comparison and synthesis (during the study of theoretical aspects of sustainable development and the influence of social corporate responsibility on it), analysis (the corporate social responsibility programs and strategies of Ukrainian business in the modern realities of martial law are analysed), and tabular procedure (visual representation of research results). Results. The research paper substantiates the significance of influencing the development of corporate social responsibility strategies and plans for sustainable development. Theoretical aspects of sustainable development were studied and it is noted that in the conditions of its implementation, corporate social responsibility becomes a forcible argument, which is a component of building a corporate strategy of sustainable development, and its connection with the development strategy takes place in the social programs of the enterprise in ethical and ecological guidelines. The research indicates the priority of the ecological direction of social responsibility for the agrarian business. It determines the directions for improving the relationship between corporate social responsibility, as a lever of sustainable development impact, and strategic management. According to the areas of responsibility, the types of corporate social responsibility programs are defined. The corporate social responsibility programs and strategies of Ukrainian businesses in the modern realities of martial law are analysed. It was determined that in today's transformative economic, political, and social conditions, business implements more social programs and strategies, respectively, outside the enterprise activity, that is, the external zone of corporate social responsibility. Discussion. As for the further step, a study is planned regarding the formation of a strategy of corporate social responsibility for agro-industrial business.
