THE UKRAINIAN INVESTMENT ENVIRONMENT IS ON THE PATH OF INTEGRATION INTO THE EUROPEAN BUSINESS COMMUNITY

Abstract
Introduction. The modern investment space of Ukraine is a unique object of democratic transformations on the basis of sustainable development, which becomes a wide field for many studies. Considering the investment space as a complex dynamic system that is formed from many elements and interacts with various factors, it is possible to study its transformation through the analysis of the volume of foreign investment, risks, changes in indices and state programs to support priority areas of development. Results. The article conducts a study on ways to improve the investment attractiveness of Ukraine in order to facilitate integration into the European Community. The authors considered the main investment-attractive industries in Ukraine today. An analysis of the number of small and medium-sized enterprises and foreign direct investment in Ukraine was also carried out, which confirms the theoretical conclusions on improving investment conditions. All observations were made with the expectation of the beginning of a full-scale invasion of the Ukraine and as of today. Methods of project financing are considered. Most of the studies have been carried out according to the sectoral systematization in the context of recent years. At the end of the study, groups of permanent and additional investment risks have been allocated. The ways to improve the investment attractiveness of Ukraine on the part of the State on the way to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals are indicated. Prospects. Attracting foreign investment remains an important lever for improving the standard of living in Ukraine, stabilizing the economy and building integration ties. Over the years of its independence, Ukraine has been distinguished by volatility and a large number of investment risks. After the full-scale invasion in 2022, the situation deteriorated even more: military risks were added to the traditional ones. However, already in 2023, Ukraine's investment space began to expand and update, creating new offers for domestic and global businesses. As of 2024 and according to the forecast for subsequent years, the government has established that new industries for investment that have not previously appeared on the Ukrainian market will appear in Ukraine. Purpose. The aim of the article is to conduct research on ways to develop the investment space of Ukraine within the framework of implementing the goals of sustainable development by means of state methods of improving investment attractiveness, taking into account the requirements of social responsibility of business. Materials and methods. The materials of the study are: 1) government statistical portals to collect all information on the industries described in the article; 2) works of domestic and foreign authors who conducted their scientific and practical research on the proposed topic, in particular on improving investment attractiveness; 3) official portals of European agencies, in particular the EBA, which analyzes the state of the Ukrainian market and the main economic indicators related to it. In the process of carrying out the research, the following scientific methods were used: theoretical generalization and grouping; formalization, analysis and synthesis; logical generalization of the results.
