NEW INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION AS A DRIVER OF NATIONAL ECONOMY DEVELOPMENT IN THE SITUATIONS OF WAR, POST-WAR RECONSTRUCTION AND WORLD COMPETITION

Abstract

Introduction. Against the backdrop of the progressive European establishment's concern about the threat of an oversupply of cheap Chinese exports, the article highlights the need to strengthen the competitiveness of industrial production as a driver of national economic development and ensure its sustainability in situations of war, post-war reconstruction and global competition. The purpose of the article is to consider, substantiate and position new industrial production as a driver of development of Ukraine's economy during the war, post-war reconstruction and global competition, and also to develop measures to implement this process. In the course of the study, the following scientific methods were used: analysis and synthesis; tabular; visualization; and logical generalization of results. Results. The expediency of finalizing and approving at the State level the list of strategically important sectors of the national economy, as well as the application of strict corporate control in attracting foreign investment as a source of their development, is substantiated. It is recommended that when attracting domestic and foreign investment, the rule of harmonious development β€” 61.8:38.2 β€” should be followed. It is proposed to harmonies the list of strategic industries with the existing types of security and vital interests of the country's population. The possibility of increasing the level of competitiveness of the national economy during the war and its post-war reconstruction on the basis of the development of industrial production of Industry 4.0 and Industry 5 is substantiated. Based on the study of the works of the progressive scientific community, the author recommends a formula for success for Ukraine: development of new industrial production, national industry, finding sources of own innovations, investing in infrastructure, science and education, which involves replacing the raw material model of the economy with a production and innovation model. Prospects and further research. It is emphasized that the development of innovative activities of strategically important industries becomes the basis for the sustainability of Ukraine's economy in situations of war and post-war reconstruction. At the same time, the author points out the problems with sales of products, which requires optimization of logistics processes and active work in this direction.
