Abstract
Introduction. In today's conditions of growing competition and rapid technological development, the PMO becomes a critical element for achieving the organization's strategic goals. The article is devoted to the analysis of the development of the project management office at the enterprise, focusing on its key stages: formation, formation and maturity. Research by the Project Management Institute shows that more than 85% of large companies already have a project management office in place, and of those, 61% report that the project management office directly contributes to their strategic goals. One of the key aspects of the work of the project management office is the implementation of digital technologies, which allows to reduce the time for performing routine tasks by 30–40%, reducing project management costs by 15–20%.
