Abstract
Introduction. Against the background of the war in Ukraine, the transport industry is facing unprecedented challenges, including the destruction of infrastructure, resource shortages and disruption of logistics chains. Keeping it functioning is key to maintaining economic stability and meeting military and humanitarian needs. In such conditions, the implementation of digital and automated solutions becomes critically important. Digitization makes it possible to quickly coordinate transportation, optimize logistics, and ensure the adaptability of transport systems to the rapidly changing conditions of hostilities. Innovations such as intelligent transport systems (ITS), unmanned technologies and digital logistics management platforms ensure the efficiency, safety and speed of transportation even in difficult crisis conditions. This is crucial not only to meet current needs, but also to rebuild the transport infrastructure after the end of the war. Studying the role of digitization and automation is important given that they can become the basis for creating a sustainable and innovative transport system of Ukraine that will meet global challenges and promote integration into European and world markets. Therefore, it is important to implement new approaches as effectively as possible and integrate new ones into all links of the transport system in order to preserve the functioning of the transport industry and ensure its further development after the end of the war. Purpose. The purpose of the study is a comprehensive analysis of the impact of digitization and automation of transport processes on the innovative development of the transport industry of Ukraine in wartime conditions. The study aims to identify key digital solutions that can ensure sustainability, efficiency and continuity of transport infrastructure during a crisis. In addition, it aims to outline strategic directions for the implementation of innovations that will contribute to the recovery of the industry after the end of hostilities and its further development at the global level. Materials and methods. The materials of the study are: 1) The legal and regulatory framework for the digitalization and automation of the transport sector in Ukraine, particularly in wartime; 2) The works of domestic and foreign authors who conduct scientific and practical research in the field of transport infrastructure, digital solutions, and unmanned technologies, especially in the context of crisis situations and military conflicts.
