Abstract

. In the article, the author revealed the problems and peculiarities of the organization and tactics of conducting individual investigative (search) actions regarding embezzlement at enterprises of the metallurgical industry, committed by officials. It is emphasized that the metallurgical industry in Ukraine is one of the key branches of the economy and has a significant impact on the socio-economic development of the country. Metallurgical enterprises specialize in the production of metal materials by processing metal ores, in particular iron ore, coal and manganese ores. Officials at metallurgical enterprises have access to significant resources and may have the opportunity to commit criminal offenses. Thus, the author summarized the fact that officials, having access to various resources and the ability to solve issues of their own service, can commit criminal acts, such as theft of metal products, financial fraud, forgery of documents and others. These actions can have serious economic consequences for businesses and national governments. The embezzlement of material resources can lead to significant losses for production, and can also cause losses in the budget system due to tax evasion and other financial manipulations. The article concludes that the commission of economic crimes is not obvious, does not leave obvious traces, is committed by persons who are often representatives of white-collar professions, which significantly complicates the detection of signs of crime and the proof of guilt and involvement (assistance) in the crime of individual persons. Therefore, in such situations, a clear organization of investigative (search) actions is important, as it allows to effectively collect evidence of violations and guilty persons, as well as to assess the real consequences for the economy and the population. This can help in establishing liability for environmental damage and developing strategies to restore and protect future violations. Introduction. The current Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine has expanded the possibilities of investigators in obtaining evidence by conducting investigative (search) actions. This was a particularly important contribution to the disclosure and investigation of crimes committed in the sphere of economy, in particular, embezzlement at enterprises of the metallurgical industry committed by officials. The commission of economic crimes is not obvious, does not leave obvious traces, is committed by persons who are often representatives of white-collar specialties, which significantly complicates the detection of signs of a crime and the proof of guilt and involvement (assistance) in the crime of individual persons.
