Abstract
This paper examines the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the functioning of international supply chains, which are the basis of world trade. The key problems faced by companies, such as disruptions in supply chains, rising transportation costs and changing consumer demand, are considered. The issue of risks associated with dependence on specific regions and suppliers and the need to diversify sources of raw materials is highlighted separately. The importance of digitalization and the introduction of innovative technologies to increase the flexibility and sustainability of global logistics networks in the future is emphasized.
