Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of morphological features of the Russian language with an emphasis on the processes of inflection and their role in the formation of synthetic and analytical constructions. The main features of synthetic languages, in which morphological information is transmitted through changing the forms of words, and analytical languages, where information is expressed through a combination of words and additional elements, are considered. In the context of the modern Russian language, a study is being conducted on the processes of simplification and transition to an analytical form, which is associated with globalization, the reduction of synthetic forms and the influence of social and cultural factors. The article also discusses current changes in the syntactic and morphological structure of the language.
