Abstract
The article examines the economic efficiency of transport, examines the key aspects affecting the development of the transport system and its impact on the country's economy, analyzes the main indicators (cost of transportation, revenue and load factor). Special attention is paid to the role of transport infrastructure and investments in its development, as well as a comparative analysis of various modes of transport.
