School geography and education of patriotism among young people

The article deals with the role of school geography in the formation of patriotic consciousness among students. Various aspects of geographical knowledge, their influence on the world outlook of schoolchildren, as well as methods of integrating educational elements into the learning process are analyzed. Special attention is paid to how the study of nature, history and culture of one's country contributes to the development of a sense of attachment to the Motherland and responsibility for its future.
