The article is devoted to the study of the integration of physical culture and sports into the process of environmental education, focusing on the influence of active sports on human consciousness and behavior in relation to the environment. The paper examines the mechanisms through which physical activity, especially outdoor sports, contributes to the formation of environmental awareness and responsible behavior. An important aspect is to identify the relationship between physical culture and environmental ethics, as well as the role of sports events in popularizing the principles of sustainable development and nature protection. In addition, the possibilities of using sports practices in educational institutions as a means of increasing environmental awareness of young people are analyzed.
