Abstract

The C1 Advanced (formerly CAE) exam is a high-level English language qualification developed by Cambridge Assessment English. It certifies a strong command of English suitable for university study, professional work in English-speaking environments, and effective communication in a variety of situations. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the C1 Advanced exam structure, including its four papers: Reading and Use of English, Writing, Listening, and Speaking.
