Abstract
Chronic pain is one of the most difficult and widespread conditions faced by medical professionals. It is defined as pain that lasts for more than three months, and can occur due to a variety of factors, including injuries, inflammatory processes, neuropathies and other causes. Chronic pain has a significant impact on the quality of life of patients, causing physical suffering, emotional distress and social isolation. Traditional treatments such as analgesics and physiotherapy often prove ineffective or have side effects. Therefore, the development of new methods and therapies for the management of chronic pain is becoming a priority task of modern medicine.
