Abstract
In the oil and natural gas industry, the exact determination of the different pVT properties of a fluid from an oil or gas well; They are of vital important for making technical and economic decisions within the hydrocarbon sector. For this reason, the objective of this project is to develop a software prototype that allows the physical properties of hydrocarbon mixtures to be determined efficiently. And also contribute to being part of the solution to one of the inevitable problems that occurs in the work and academic field of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering career, which is the availability of pVT reports when characterizing a hydrocarbon fluid. Given the quantitative nature of the project, the investigation was chosen through the deductive - descriptive scientific method, in which the pVT correlations commonly used by petroleum engineers in the upstream - midstream sectors are described and the methodology proposed by the Póyla mathematician for software development.
