Registration and nursing system for patients in EHEALTH using RFID/NFC technology

Today, more and more hospitals manage patient records using computer support and information tech­ nology. This paper presents a Registration and Nursing System far patients using NFC (Near Field Communi­cations), smart mobile devices and a Web-based ap­plication. This solution seeks to facilitate the registration of patient information and better track care processes while in a health center. The results of the application of this system indicate that despite benefits to the management of patient information, the nurses feel they still need to adapt themselves to technologi­cal changes, as well as training in the use of new tech­ nologies.
