The Universidad del Valle, an inexhaustible source of scientific knowledge, contributes to society by disseminating the knowledge generated by professionals, students, and individuals who, in one way or another, have been connected to this institution. This information must be shared for the benefit of society as a whole, particularly for researchers in the field, helping them and allowing them to reduce the time required for their research projects. The Journal Boliviano de Ciencias is a scientific journal that was founded over 15 years ago within Univalle, providing thousands of students and research professionals with the opportunity to express their ideas, knowledge, and experiences on its pages. In this issue, among various topics, readers will discover how technology, mobile devices, and mathematics can enhance people's quality of life and facilitate the work of many professionals. It is a great pleasure to showcase the effort behind many hours of research, reflected in the articles that I am honored to present with great satisfaction.
