Abstract
Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan is government of India programme aimed at the universalization of elementary education in a time bound manner. The Govt. of India made 86th amendment in constitution of India making free and compulsory education to the children of the age group of 6-14 years. This is being implemented in partnership with state govt. This is the main programme for elementary education bridging of gender and social category gaps in education and enhancement of learning level of children, This also provides opening of new schools, constructions of schools and additional. Provisioning for teachers and their training. This has a special focus on girls education and children with special needs by providing resources sports, text books and support for learning achievement.
