Abstract
Modern societies are the Democratic Societies. All the democracies are meant to protect the rights of peoples. One such right is Education. Education is intended to mould the character of the people. The character is shaping in the schools. The shaping the character of children is in the hands of teachers. The teacher must be careful to observe the character and behavior of the child in school.
The teacher should equip with knowledge of children psychology. The teacher should know, why the child behaves in such manner, what factors are responsible for a child to behave in indecent manner. If the teacher finds indecency in the behavior of child, He should understand social and economic factors of child family, which led him to behave so. After finding the cause's mental treatment should not rely upon the corporal punishment to correct behavior of children. Corporal punishment is a negation to the human life and violation the democratic rights being conferred by the constitution. Beating, abusing, scolding and impatience, shows against the children by the teacher cannot be accepted by the modern society. Force and threat are not the proper tools to set right the behavior of children.
